The West University of Timișoara has established a regional center for counseling and guidance in research careers, with the aim of promoting research careers among young people and developing their interest, as well as that of other citizens, in Romanian research.

We offer career guidance services for researchers.

We provide advanced career guidance services for researchers, consisting of personalized assistance in writing research projects, scientific articles, science communication, and research ethics, such as organizing training and providing access to research career counseling, mentoring, and coaching sessions.

We organize continuing professional development programs for local researchers temporarily working in RDI organizations in Romania.

We organize continuing professional development courses for foreign researchers temporarily working in RDI institutions in Romania.

We conduct studies and surveys on research career guidance needs in western Romania.

We organize Romanian language courses for foreign researchers conducting research in host institutions in Romania.

We organize networking events to facilitate the integration of researchers from outside Romania into the community.

We offer assistance services for establishing the tax residence of foreign researchers.

We offer three specific research career management services:

1) monitoring career development;

2) personalized career management assistance;

3) academic career counseling.

We carry out activities to promote science (school visits, media promotion, programs for young people in schools and high schools, focused on their involvement in scientific experiments, press articles).

We facilitate internships in research organizations for students.

We organize debate-type events with the participation of various local actors, focused on concepts derived from research and their consequences for community life.

We organize interactive science café-type events, inviting personalities with outstanding scientific achievements to present their field and answer questions.

We organize activities to involve young people in volunteer work.

We organize traveling and interactive exhibitions focused on scientific results and evidence in cutting-edge fields of science and technology.

We organize and participate in activities within the national network of research career guidance centers (joint events to promote the activities of the network of research career guidance centers, promotion of research results obtained at the level of each region, exchanges of good practices, experience exchange internships).
