,,Ce este teleportarea cuantică?’’ invitat Profesor Dr. Sandu Popescu
On March 28, 2024, we had the opportunity to learn the answers to the fascinating question: “What is quantum teleportation?” alongside the distinguished Professor Sandu Popescu, a leading representative in the field of quantum physics.
With an exceptional career and remarkable contributions to quantum physics, Professor Sandu Popescu spoke to us about the concept of “non-locality” and its consequences, including quantum teleportation, a phenomenon that raises essential questions about the nature of reality. Together, we traveled to a microscopic world full of surprises and amazing discoveries.
Professor Sandu Popescu works at the H. H. Wills Physics Laboratory at the University of Bristol (UK). During his career, he has made numerous contributions to quantum theory, from fundamental ones to the design of practical experiments (such as the first teleportation experiment) and patentable commercial applications. Mr. Sandu Popescu is an elected member of the Royal Society (UK), received the Adams Prize (Cambridge) in 2001, the Clifford Patterson Prize of the Royal Society (UK) in 2004, the John Stewart Bell Prize in 2011, the Dirac Medal in 2016, and the Cozzarelli Prize in 2017.
