Objectives

The main objective of the project is to create a regional center for counseling and guidance in research careers at the West University of Timișoara, with a view to promoting research careers among young people and developing their interest, as well as that of other citizens, in Romanian research. In order to achieve this objective, three specific objectives are pursued:

• Attracting and strengthening research careers by carrying out specific academic career management activities and running advanced/personalized programs for researchers and people interested in developing a career in research in the western region of Romania.
• Promoting research results among young people and local communities in western Romania to illustrate the importance of research in the economic development of the community.
• Increasing the attractiveness of the national RDI system and the capacity to absorb European funds, in particular through participation in the European Union’s research and innovation framework program, Horizon Europe, and in European RDI partnerships, among the research community in the western region of Romania.
