Prof. Lucian Pârvulescu, Ph.D., is the founder and coordinator of the international platform World of Crayfish, a registered trademark dedicated to the biodiversity and conservation of freshwater crayfish. He is also the director and founder of the Crayfish Research Center, the research center of the West University of Timișoara (UVT) within ICAM-UVT, and supervises doctoral students in the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Chemistry, Biology, and Geography.
